So to orient yourself to the right direction that align with your purpose, you want to ask yourself few questions, such as, what am I exactly doing in a job or place that I have no personal relationship connected with, except receiving money or what are my abilities and aptitudes? What I do extremely well in and what do I need to work on? And if there is a need for working on a subject, do I need to go back to school for continue education and get some training? Am I bored and looking for some challenge and that is why I need the change? On the other hand, maybe it is because there is no growth potential. Do I see myself at the same place five years from now? If you figure out the answers to these questions, and respond "yes", to the last one, do not waste your time and your life for whatever reason. It is not worth it while! It is high time to make yourself a plan or a map as follow: If you want to be a network administrator but you are actually a department store representative in some mall, you will probably need to take some courses in data processing or office automation since this category involves a computer running database and programming. Figure out how many courses you need to take and for how long time. Then you might need experience. You can build it by doing a few jobs for nonprofits or a friends' business to build up your portfolio and update your resume just to get your foot in the door. To be realistic the whole process could take two to three years at least. Decide if it is worth investing the time and perhaps take a substantial pay cut.
The highlight point here is to pursue your dreams and make it your reality. The day an individual stop to dream his life is in the way to its end. Do not ever stop dreaming. Picture your perfect job. Imagine how will it feel and taste. Visualize yourself doing it, being happy and excelling. Positive idea of mental picture can be the key to attaining the success you deserve.
