How to Maintain Your Energy in the Fall

A Holisitic Approach is Recommended

Mathew Paul
The fall is a fascinating time of year. The summer comes to an end, the warm and hot weather is replaced with cooler air and there is much less sunshine and daylight hours.

Having to spend more time in the dark and less in the light of day and in the sunshine makes our moods less cheerful, our outlook dimmer, and robs us of our natural energy.

To maintain your energy levels during the Fall, one should take a holistic approach. Of course we must maintain our physical health by drinking plenty of water, maintaining a healthy diet, getting our sunshine, the proper amount of rest, and our share of physical exercise. And our mental health is just important. We must maintain a positive, upbeat view of life.

Fall is also a great opportunity to reduce the stress and anxiety in your life. Stress and anxiety will rob you of your energy as much as any other factor. This is a great time of the year to be a peace maker. What are your main conflicts and who do you have them with? Make a plan to resolve all your conflcts, and reach out to the people you have a conflict with. Go the extra mile, be a peace maker and reslove the issues that divide you and other people. I have known people who waste a great deal of time and energy fighting senseless battles. The end of the year is coming up, and this is a great time to assess your situation. What did you intent to accomplish this year? What has gone wrong, and just as important what went right? Put a plan together to end the year on a positive note, and then begin planning what you want to accomplish next year and for the rest of your life. Put a life plan together. Analyze where you have been, where you are now, where you want to go in life, and how you are going to get there. Having a plan for your life that provides realistic goals and objectives, together with a practical plan to achieve those objectives will improve your outlook on life, reduce the stress and anxiety in your life, and provide much more natural energy.
