Hypoglycemia is a condition affecting many people. It is a condition that is the opposite of diabetes. Diabetes is abnormally high blood sugar whereas hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. It occurs when blood glucose, blood sugar, is abnormally too low to give energy for the body's activities.

The symptoms of Hypoglycemia are:
Trembling
Anxiety
Clamminess
Irregular heart beat
Sweating
Hunger
Headaches
Confusion
Difficulty thinking
Nervousness
Mood Swings
Irritableness

Conventional medical doctors make testing for diabetes apart of a patient's regular health check up. However, hypoglycemia testing is not apart of a patient's regular health check up. The study of hypoglycemia is not a focal study like diabetes in conventional medical schools and is not apart of conventional medical research.

The New England Medical Journal, a notable medical journal that reports research in conventional medicine, does not provide information about hypoglycemia. This shows how the study of hypoglycemia is ignored by the conventional medical community. Medication is made to treat diabetes, but there is no medication for hypoglycemia.

However, research in hypoglycemia has been done in the alternative medical community. Alternative medical providers, such as natural pathologist have researched hypoglycemia and developed tests and treatment for it. The treatment consists of nutritional and vitamin therapy.

Unfortunately medicad, medicare, and heath insurance providers do not pay for treatment from natural pathologist and other alternative medical providers.

According to natural pathologist and other alternative medical providers, hypoglycemia's common causes are the over uses of diabetic medications, dieting, alcohol, eating too much sugar, missing meals regularly, and eating a lot of junk food. According to natural pathologists and others in the alternative medical community, proper nutritional and vitamin therapy can regulate the low blood sugar of someone suffering from hypoglycemia.

It is recommended by natural pathologist and others in the alternative medical community that people suffering from hypoglycemia should eat six small meals daily. The small meals should be a combination of proteins and complex carbs following are recommended foods to eat to treat hypoglycemia by natural pathologist:

Protein
Protein is essential to the treatment of hypoglycemia. Good sources of protein for people with hypoglycemia are:

Eggs (Eat poached or boiled daily for breakfast. This can provide the best protein basis to help maintain adequate blood sugar control into the day.)
Whole milk
Cheese
Chicken, turkey, fish (Bake. Do not fry)
Nuts
Plain yogurt

Complex Carbs
Complex Carbs are also essential to the treatment of hypoglycemia. Good sources of complex carbs are:
Dried peas and lentils
Dried bean (All kinds)
Brown Rice
Whole wheat bread and rye bread
Oat meal and mixed grain hot cereals(Eat with breakfast every morning.)
Whole wheat pasta, multi grain pasta, and brown rice pasta
Potatoes (Bake. not boiled)
Yams, sweet potatoes, carrots
Dark leafy green vegetables
Citrus fruit
Red apples, golden apples
Red tomatoes
100% fruit juice not from concentrate
Watermelon and cantaloupe (eat mixed together in cupful amounts)

Vitamin Treatment
According to natural pathologist there are certain vitamins that came be taken to treat hypoglycemia. When taken with a proper diet, these vitamins can help regulate the blood sugar level.
The vitamins recommended are:
Chromium 500-2000mcg/day
Manganese 25-50mg/day
Niacnamide 100-500mg/day
Biotin 250-2000mcg/day
Para-aminobenzoic acid 300mg/day
Vitamin E 400-800IU/day
Choline 250-1000mg/day

When taking vitamins and minerals to treat hypoglycemia, only use natural vitamins and minerals. Many vitamin and mineral brands are made with synthetic chemicals ingredients. GNC, General Nutritional Center, is a national nutrition store that only sells natural vitamins and minerals. Natural pathologist only use natural vitamins and minerals to treat their patients.

A person feeling any of the symptoms of hypoglycemia should contact their primary care doctor and ask the doctor to run a complete detail blood sugar lab test. Unfortunately there is not any medication to prescribe to treat hypoglycemia.

However an alternative medical provider, such as a natural pathologist, can treat people hypoglycemia. The natural pathologist also has understanding of how to proportion meals with the right combination of foods and vitamin treatment to suit the individual of the person suffering from hypoglycemia.
