How to Manage Posts in B2evolution

After you have installed your b2evolution software and updated all of the settings, you will want to start adding content to your site. This tutorial will show you how to add posts, edit posts, delete posts, and more. You will need to login to your admin panel of b2evolution.

How to Add a New Post to b2evolution

We will start off with adding a post to your site. At the very top of the page, you will see the Write button, click that button to begin. On the next page you will see the two fields where you can type your post. Enter your information in the fields and select the category or categories that you want the post to be published under. The category is on the right side of the page. You can only select one main category, but you can select as many extra categories as you want.

You can also insert images and links into your posts. Place your mouse where you want to insert the image and click the Image button. When the box opens, enter the URL for the image in the field. Then click the OK button. Do the same for links. Highlight the text that you want to link, click the Link button and enter the URL in the field. To insert smilies into your post, click the smilie on the editor that you want to use. Once you have finished with your new post, click the Save button to add it to the site.

How to Delete Posts in b2evolution

To delete posts, you will need to click the Post/Comments button. On the Posts/Comments page, you will see a list of posts that you have on your site. Each post is in its own little box. In the bottom of the box, you will see the Delete button. To delete a post, click the delete button in that post box. A box will pop up and ask if you are sure that you want to delete it. Click the OK button to delete it.

How to Edit Posts in b2evolution

Next, I will show you how to edit your posts. You will need to go back to the Posts/Comments page. In each of the boxes, you will see the Edit button. To edit a post, click the Edit button in the box of the post that you want to edit. Then make your changes on the next page and click the Save button.

You can also view the stats for each post by clicking Posts/Comments and looking in the top right corner of each box. Your views will be listed there.
