Getting noticed is tough enough. But in today's market getting noticed is crucial, so here are a few tips, ideas and ways as to how you can get your marketing noticed, and how you can reach your target audience.

1. Make all of your marketing targeted. Don't try to market to everyone everywhere instead focus on reaching your target audience and target market.
2. Make sure all of your sales and marketing messages cover and include AIDA, which stands for Attention - get and keep your customers attention
Interest - get, keep and raise their interest levels.
Desire - put desire into the customer's thoughts; make them desire your product.
Action - Get them to take action be it to request more information or buy a product.
3. Find out and identify what your target market and target audience need and want and then build both your marketing and sales messages around your customers, they are the centre of your business.
4. Always review your marketing. Find out what is working and what's not. Review your marketing in both the short term and long term to achieve more success.
5. Use a variety of marketing mediums and channels to get your message across and noticed - From direct marketing to email marketing, research, test and try out new ways and methods to find out what works best for you.
6. Decide what you want to achieve from your marketing. There is no point in spending valuable resources such as time and money on producing fancy pieces of marketing material if you don't know what you want to achieve from your marketing efforts. For example do you want to introduce a new product? Do you want to tell people where you are and what you sell, do you want to let them know about a sell, do you want them to make an enquiry, a purchase and so on? Before you undertake a marketing campaign or even get a piece of literature drawn up decide what it is you want to achieve.
7. Remember to always put yourself in the customers position, find out what it is they want, what they need and then fulfil their needs and wants. Don't try and just sell sell sell without knowing your customers and your marketplace.

I hope you have found this article both useful and helpful. Good luck with marketing your business I wish you every success.
