The Mahany/Meininger Senior Centers are there to assist in several aspects of the seniors lives. The center provides valuable programs such as A.G.E, Meals, and R.O.S.E.S., which provide the services listed below:
A.G.E - or Adjacent Generational Exchange provides assist for the frail elderly through a great provided by the Beaumont Hospital.
Meals- Provides discounted meals from stretch each day for $3. 5-10 Meal Vouchers can be purchased through the program and free shuttle service is provided for those going to the center.
R.O.S.E.S - or Royal Oak Senior Essential Services is a program that helps seniors with daily essentials. Providing the:
Home Chore program- Snow shoveling, yard work, and house work
Home Repair program- Minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
Personal Care program- Assisting seniors with Bathing, feeding, shopping, and daily household chores.
These programs are made possible through grants by the Beaumont hospital, the city of Royal Oak, and donation made by individuals in an around Royal Oak. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 248-246-3917
