The 53 countries in alphabetical order are: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwana, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Since there are so many countries, they will be easier to memorize if put into short sentences. Keeping the new words as close to the country names, here is the mneumonic:
Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde: Algae And Ben Bought Birkenstocks Fast, But Cameron's Green Cape* Centralized Africa's Republic. *Please note that Verde means green in Spanish.

Some of these sentences may seem very silly and absurd, but this is also just an example of how you can memorize. Feel free to modify these sentences to help yourself memorize the countries. After all, you're the one who has to memorize all of the countries, so it should be something that makes sense to you. Good luck and happy memorization!
