How to Memorize the Lord's Prayer

Dina Staggs
The Lord's prayer is the most fundamental prayer in Christianity as it contains the basics aspects of prayer. In the Gospels of Matthew 6:9-13, and Luke 11:2-4 Christ responds to his disciples call to teach them how to pray by teaching them the Lord's prayer (also known as the Our Father in Catholicism) as an example and model of prayer. The memorization method applied below is accredited to academic tutor John Place and can be applied to all forms of memorization.
