How to Use Mitotropin to Lose Weight and Gain Muscle

Mitotropin is produced by Gaspari. It is aimed at individuals who are training for any kind of physique condition, such as fitness, figure, bodybuilding, or bikini competitions. Since many people who train for these types of events often already have lean bodies with low amounts of excess body fat, Mitotropin aims to help get rid of the "last stubborn pounds" that the body holds on to.

Mitotropin is a 30-day cycle, with the final day being your competition. If you are not doing a competition and you want to use Mitotropin, you still need to cycle off of the product for at least a month. Many of the ingredients in Mitotropin are similar to those in fat burners, and the body needs a break from thermogenics to recuperate. The adrenal system especially needs time off of fat burner-type products.

Mitotropin works by increasing your resting metabolic rate, increasing the usage of stored fat for energy use, and ridding the body of excess water. The ingredients that boost the resting metabolic rate are similar to those found in many popular fat burners, since they are thermogenic substances.

The thermogenic components of Mitotropin include: L-Tyrosine, beta-phenylethylamine, Green Tea Extract, Caffeine Anhydrous USP, Green Coffee Bean Extract, hordenine, evodia rutaecarpa extract, synephrine, DL-phenylalanine, ginko biloba extract, uncaria rhynchophylla, sinofranchetia chinesis, and huperzine-A.

The "uncoupling complex" are the ingredients that allow fat to be released from cells more easily to be used as fuel during activity. They include: N-Acetyl L-Carnitine, flax seed powder, undaria pinnatifida extract (Fucoxanthin), grape seed extract, capsicum annum extract (also a thermogenic compound), 3,3' diiodo-l-thyronine, and 3,5-diiodo-l-thyronine.

The formula also contains antioxidants to help neutralize free radicals that are formed in the body due to exercise and diet.

The component that helps you shed excess water weight is in a separate capsule, to be used the last 2-3 days of the Mitotropin cycle. If you aren't competing, you probably don't need to take these. They are to help get rid of subcutaneous water that blurs the striations and definition of muscles. With the excess water gone the body appears more cut and lean.

Mitotropin, much like fat burners, is not a magic solution. To achieve you "competition-ready" body, you must follow a high protein, moderate to low fat and carb diet. You also have to exercise, preferably with both weight lifting and cardio. This supplement comes with a diet and exercise guide that gives great guidelines on cycling carbohydrate and protein for maximum fat loss and muscle retention.

So, you might wonder, if you have to diet and exercise why do I bother taking Mitotropin at all? If you look at any weight loss product, including appetite suppressants and fat burners, you'll see that they recommend diet and exercise to achieve the desired results. Without the diet and exercise component you will probably see some weight loss due to the fact that your resting metabolic rate is increased, which means you'll burn more calories every day even if you don't do any extra work.

Mitotropin (and all other effective weight loss supplements) help you get more results for your hard work. If you work out and eat sensibly already, adding Mitotropin will give you increased energy, fat loss, and muscle retention. If you up the intensity of your workout program and/or cut out excess calories, you'll achieve even better results.

I used Mitotropin for the full 30-day cycle and was impressed with how well it worked. I tolerated it well, which is somewhat surprising since I have IBS and most products containing thermogenics cause gastrointestinal side effects, at least initially. I would recommend Mitotropin to those who are looking to achieve more definition in their muscle tone and lower body fat.
