How Do Mobs and Gangs Form?

Mobs are an organized crime group, for the most part. Gangs are pretty much the same thing, and are looked at with about the same respect. Neither of these groups are really respected, rather feared.

But to truly understand how gangs and mobs form, one needs to understand what the purpose of a gang is. The main purpose of a gang is to support each other in the gang. This does NOT necessarily mean killing anyone that gets in your way. This simply means that a relationship is formed between a group of people, who provide support for one another.

It just so happens that most gangs do evolve into crime, sex, and drugs. This is because gangs provide the resources necessary for survival of its members, sometimes killing people who get in the way, and having sex as well as doing drugs make this experience much more worth while.

I am not defending gangs, nor am I trying to justify their behavior, more or less explaining how and why they form. Gangs are typically not formed with the intent to kill others. They're more like a source of protection and reliability.

The members in a gang can rely on eachother. If it comes to a life and death situation, the members of a gang are there to back you up. If you manage to upset or challenge someone who is a member of a gang, however, plan on either getting out of town, or facing severe consequences.

Gangs are definitely not a good thing to have around in modern society. They're extremely difficult to control, and are uprising in many different parts of the nation as well as the world.

Prison gangs are even starting to form now, where new gangs are formed from within the walls of the prisons. New violence is started after convicted gang members create new gangs, form alliances and enemies, and start fights within the walls of the prison.

Gangs are something that are extremely difficult to get out of. Since you've already agreed to help protect all of the people in the gang, you're breaking your promise upon leaving the gang. Sometimes death comes before leaving a gang. If you're challenged into a gang, your only other alternative to joining the gang is typically death. Just stay away from gangs to the best of your ability!

Gangs are a huge problem and are slowly being dealt with. I suggest staying away from all gang activity, and you should be okay!
