How to Make Money

I believe Dave Ramsey is very smart and has a lot of great truths to share with us and to me he is more of a guy who knows how to help you get out of debt, but nwe all know that in order to get out of debt,we, need money.

Nothing gets one more discouraged than to hear , " You need to pay off your debt", but then no one tells that person how to make money to get out of that. And that is why I am here. NO, I do not know how to tell you exactly how to do that, but I know of people that can help you.

I like Gary Keessee because he is not only a financial guru, but he will help you from a Christian perspective. I never heard anyone talking like he does, with such a godly persepective and so hopeful. Turn out that it is not running across country that will bring success and money, but the answer is right in front of your eyes; yes!!!

So, please google Gary Keessee and also look under RESOURCES on this webpage to see his website and church, Faith Life Now, and get some ideas from him on how to make it during a financial crisis.

Another man I like to listen to and read is David G. Johnson with Epiphany Marketing. He is full of ideas for small business workers on how to make it and get more leads and make money faster than before. Just google him, too.

Yes, a third guy I really like listening to and is so hopeful is Delatorro McNeal. Awesome guy! Very hopeful. When I listen to him, I just want to cry, because we all have hopes and dreams and we all want to live out our full potential. This guy will give you practical ideas on how to get out of the situation you are in.Upon listening to him, you just want to shout, " Yes! Yes! That is me! That is me!"

These are just a few of the guys that have impacted my life radically this past week only!

These are hard economic times. Who doesn't want to hear something hopeful? But, I will tell you one thing my friend: it can only be done with God in the center of it. Hebrews 13 says not to love money because He said , " NO WAY , I am going to leave you".Money is not bad, but the LOVE of it is.

You know I want to boast with the Lord to you what He has done in the past 2 days in my life. He deserves to be exposed! LOL.

After trying hard to get my finances together and losing money last month from my income( not enough client calls), I prayed and I told God that if He just helped me, nothing shall stop me from 100 fold obedience. Now, of course that with His help. I do not want to make promises I cannot keep, but my heart loves Him so much.

So, I called the Board of Education here where I used to substitute because I just wanted to see if they had a copy of my background check so I can use it for tutoring. I already own ElamTutoring, but I need more students. I am very effective. Moms constantly tell me how their children are getting B+s and As and are on the honor roll. I am thrilled. Tutoring is my gifting. Teaching is.

So, anyways, I wanted to expand my business a little bit since things have not had the same amount of students this semester as I did in the Spring 2010. So, I called the Education Board for a copy. They found one and therefore I do not have to pay for another one. But, not only that; the lady there saw that I used to sub with them and said, " I also see that you are a substitute teacher with us". I said, " yes, but I was told that I could not sub anymore because I am not a certified teacher". She said, " Well, that is true; we do not take anymore new people, but hyou are already in the system and your sub license is good till 2012; I can reactivate you". Praise the Lord! I was just praying that morning for more money; for a miracle and God worked!

Then another tutoring company wrote me to tell me that they want me work with them and I just need to fill out some paperwork and how that background check is good and they will accept it! How is that for God showing off?

Then yet another miracle; I am a single mom and as I said things have been tight since my number of calls from my clients have been down in October. I work as a contract employee for some companies in interpreting or as some know it better, translating. We did not have many calls in October as usually, so my finances suffered.

Well, I really needed food this month. As I was driving to a place to get some food, a brother from church calls me that have become to me ( he and his wife) like my surrogate parents here in the USA and says, " You are coming to church tonight, righ?" Well, of course I was going. Then he said that they had a "basket" for me for Thanksgiving. My dear friends that was no basket, but a huge box filled with a whole turkey for my freezer, cans of goods, rice, beans, oil, flour, sugar, dessert...let me put it this way....my cabinets are full and did not know where to fit them anymore! The love these people showed me astonished me. No, really. These same people ( my surrogate parents) were with me all night in the ER last week when I got really sick. I do not see much of that kind of love in Christian circles sadly, but they have outdone themselves. What if we all loved one another like that? What a change would? How many people would get saved when they would see us as ACTS 2 talks about that we love one another like that? That is what drew the non-believers to Jesus; the love the Christians showed for one another; not even for the non-believers. Could it be that a lot of people do not accept Christ because they see how lack of love is in the church? And by the way, a pat on the back is NOT love. Love is doing something for someone you would want them do to you if you were in their situation. Now, how would that change your view of life?...

Anyway all these miracles God did in one day! And there is more to share, but too much time to write about it all.This is my God! It does seems as though the miracles started happening when I said, "100 fold obedience and I do not want to waste my time anymore being someone I am not ; I just want to fulfill my destiny"( paraphrased all these quotations) or maybe God just showed me a lot of mercy.Also, I needed to get on my knees and pray and peace entered my heart. I had a trust that brought peace. Oh yes, I had some doubts, too, but nevertheless, God is faithful when we are not. He cannot deny Himself.

So, I want to encourage you to check out these Christian men and listen to them. let God change your life and trust Him. Obey Him. Seek His Kingdom ONLY. Not FIRST. The GREEK says , " only" ,not "first". It has been translated wrong. Only Him. Seek His dominion over every area of your life only. He will bless you. He will NEVER EVER leave you. He will come through.
