How to Make Money for Free Online

Making money online for free is not a get rich quick scheme. It's easy, but you won't make a living doing it. If you want to make a living with it, stop reading right now! If you want to add a few bucks a month to your coffers, though, then by all means read on and I'll share what I do to earn a little extra spending money.

Associated Content - Obviously, you can make money by writing for Associated Content. Not only do you get the pay per click rate, which is small but adds up quickly, but if you produce content that is requested then you can receive upfront payment. To get the most out of your AC writing, link it with your Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter. There are also LiveJournal communities dedicated to Content Producers. Associated Content pays through PayPal, very convenient and easy, and once you get started you can get paid every month just for having articles up!

Opinion Outpost, SurveySpot, and YourTwoCents - Online survey sites that all pay! The one I have most recently had the best luck with is Opinion Outpost. All three send survey invitations right to your inbox, and pay $1-$3 for every survey you complete. Sometimes, you might be chosen for special surveys that pay more as well. Click on any of the names above to join. All you have to do is open and take the surveys they send you, and when you have enough money in your account ($5 minimum, it's not hard) then you can request that they send you a check. It takes 2-6 weeks to receive the checks, but sometimes it's even faster. I just got both checks I requested from SurveySpot and Opinion Outpost within a week and a half!

Upromise - Do you know someone who'll be going to college some day? Well, then you can join Upromise, and if you link your grocery and/or debit card to the account then you will automatically save when you buy certain products. You can also save by getting gas at Exxon or Mobile. Over 20 gallons in a month? They'll contribute 2 cents per gallon to your Upromise account for free. They also have a partnership with a survey site that will contribute to the college savings as well. The savings are slow, but they can add up quickly if you use it for gas, groceries, and buying things online. Each one gives you a percentage of what you spent, without any effort on your part. The best thing though, is that your family and friends can help you save by signing up and linking their accounts to yours!

None of these sites require a fee to join, and they're simple to use as well. Good luck!
