People seem amazed when I mention something about money I made online. I know there are many ways to make money online, but these are the combined things I am doing to make some money. I also am trying to build a passive income for the future, meaning residual income from work I am doing now.
I am not rich, but that is not saying I might not do really well over time. If you need some extra income, and are interested in learning how to make money online like I do, I will be glad to get you started.
I will start with Ehow. Ehow is an article site where you make money for writing articles about things you know "how to" do. You are paid by the traffic to your site, according to an advertising formula. It is by far the best-paying free-lance writing site I know of. Someone else may be able to prove me wrong. You join for free at http://www.ehow.com. You then start writing! You are paid once a month to your Paypal Account, which you will need to set up.
Read some of the articles on Ehow; you would be surprised to know what you might know that someone else would like to know! There is also a community at Ehow where you can interact with other authors, adding traffic to your site and having a great time! You get a check to your Paypal account after you make ten dollars.
Another online writing site I am writing on to make money online is Bukisa. It allows you to sign people up to be in your network, and you also will derive income on their writing, too. This site pays a straight amount by the number of visitors reading your article. They have an "index" on the site that tells you at any given time what the pay is per thousand hits to your article.
They give you a link to give people so that if they sign up, they will be in your network. Here is my link:
I would appreciate if you would use my joining link; I try to support my network in any way I can. I read, comment, and even promote their articles for them. I will place this link at the end of the article, too. You can place articles on Bukisa that are also on other sites, such as your Ehow articles that are not doing so well. Ehow has a pay formula based on advertising instead of straight hits like Bukisa. Therefore, the same article may make some money on Bukisa.
When you submit an article, they usually take several hours or overnight to approve it. They do this mainly just as a precaution against Spam and junk, which had started creeping in when they were not doing that. It is not any kind of difficult approval process; they seem to just be taking precautions against problems. I do not even really know if they read it! You can publish different types of content on here; even slide shows, audio files, etc...You get a check after you make ten dollars in a month.
I also write, of course, for Associated Content, the site you are reading this article on! This site pays to Paypal, too. It is free to sign up, and they also pay upfront for articles sometimes. I have written several articles where they paid me anywhere from a dollar or so to Six dollars for an article. I am sure others have made even more.
They have a list of articles you can scroll through on the site that they are looking for. If you want to write one, you claim it. They have a time limit of a certain number of days in which to write it. This site allows you to choose what level of agreement you want to have with them. You can grant them exclusive rights, or just display only. After a few articles, you can publish with no approval to display only. If you choose to give them exclusive rights to content you have not published, you can potentially be connected with other sites who are interested in publishing your content.
It takes a few days for them to look over work submitted for upfront payment. Sometimes they will ask you to change something and resubmit. I will place a link to my Associated Content profile page for you to peruse. This writing site pays once a month, regardless of how much you make. You can publish various content on here, even poetry. Last week I published five pictures of the California wildfires that my son took. The software on the site allows you to publish pictures in slide show form. They also publish audio, movies, creative writing, etc...
I also do some work to make money online on a site called Mechanical Turk. This is owned by Amazon. You do little online tasks such as finding online information, rewriting sentences or articles, and even freelance writing. There is also transcription work available. The work is called "hits." You accept these hits and if approved by the person who ordered the work, you are paid to an Amazon account. If you want to use it to purchase on Amazon.com, the Amazon website, you can, or you can have it transferred to your bank account. It can be transferred in increments of $10.00.
On Mechanical turk, I also met a man for whom I did some work. I now write a lot for him outside of Mechanical turk on a daily basis. He pays me per article. Many of the People and businesses who contract work through Amazon Mechanical Turk are looking to establish a long-term relationship with people who will write or do other work on a regular basis.
I saved this method to make money online to last; it is my largest effort. I am an Ebay seller; Here's the link to my Ebay store. You can do Ebay, also, but I am not going to tell you it is the easiest way to make money. There is a considerable learning curve with Ebay, and reading books helps. But, most of it you find out by trial and error.
If you have been an Ebay customer already, you are way ahead of the game. I did not understand much of anything about Ebay when we started. I have sold different things; I started out with clothing and shoes. I eventually gravitated to collectible toys, and later opened a store.
You can sell just about anything on Ebay, and you may have to experiment, too. You may have several areas you can work with. Basically, anything you can obtain at a low price, you can sell on Ebay. Odd and rare items are especially good sellers. If you have a factory outlet of an item near you, you might have a possibility. Garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores are great treasure troves of things to sell on Ebay.
I have studied and learned by experience what toys people will buy and what they won't. You will need to invest some time in studying the market of what you are seeking to sell on Ebay. There's not room here to get you started, but I have an article about Ebay I will reference at the end. You can also look through my store and see the kind of things I sell.
I hope this has been helpful; you can make money online. Always is a possibility thinker! You never have to pay money to make money online. All of these opportunities are free!http://www.bukisa.com/join/10849
