How to Make Money Selling Xocai at Retail

As a Xocai Independent Distributor, you will be receiving one or two cases of product sent to your home every four weeks. They options you have for this product is to either eat it, demo it, or sell it. For those of you that are just getting started you will likely want to sell as much of the product as you can in order to afford the next autoship. So how do you retail this product?

The wholesale cost of a case of product is $130 with shipping and handling. The company's suggested retail price for a case is $170 with shipping. The four cases of chocolate in the inventory range from 84 pieces to 140 pieces. The cost per piece for this items varies from $0.93 each to $1.55 each piece.

To find the wholesale cost per piece for each item simply divide the total wholesale cost (with shipping and handling) by the total number of pieces per case. Some of these items call for three pieces per serving. By multiplying the per piece cost by the serving size you will determine the wholesale serving cost.

Due to the fact that MXI retails cases of these products at $170 with shipping through your website, there is no reason to charge less than this for retailing the products in smaller quantities. In order to find out how much to retail pieces and servings for, we need to know the unit costs based on the suggested retail price for a case.

To find the retail per piece cost, divide the retail rate (with shipping and handling) by the number of pieces in the case. By multiplying the per piece retail rate by the serving size you will determine the retail serving rate. Keep in mind that these numbers are the best rates a non-member could pay when they order a whole case. Therefore, you can expect higher rates when breaking cases and selling pieces to non-members.

MXI Corp has cases retailing at a 30% markup over the wholesale cost. To keep people interested in the idea of signing up opposed to buying at retail, you should look to markup retail to at least 50% over wholesale cost (this would be ideal for ΒΌ case sales). As the quantity of packages that you retail get smaller, the higher the markup should be on the sale price.
