How to Make Money with Squidoo Lenses

I love the way they think over at Squidoo.com, they think like I think. I always have new ideas, many more than I can keep up with. But with Squidoo I actually have a chance to keep up with many of my ideas. Squidoo kind of fulfills a need for me. Bonus: If I can make money while expressing myself and write about things I enjoy, what could be better.

Making what they call a "Lens" at Squidoo is easy and the best part it's also fun. The lenses are broken down into simple steps and have many different options or modules where you can add text or pictures and other fun items. Over at Squidoo they even have a place called SquidU where you can learn how to just about anything you would need to know about publishing your lens. Making the lenses at Squidoo is similar to posting to a blog and it's easier than writing a 400-word article. You can have lens topics on just about anything you would like. It would appear the more popular the topic the more money you can earn from that particular lens. Also the more people that would be willing to spend money on your lens topic would be how to maximize your earnings.

There are three ways to make money from Squidoo.

Money From Ad's: You will get a portion of the money that comes from the Google ads placed at the top of the lens. To make money from Google ads you only need visitors to click on the ad. Or earn more with the sidebar ads, if you choose to turn them on. If you are trying to make money you want to have all of the ads maxed out!

Money Selling Items: Having modules where people are selling things from: CafePress, eBay, Amazon, Esty and LuLu, will also generate money. Just try to make those modules relevant to your lens topic.

Money From Affiliate Marketing: Affiliate marketing is where you sign up with a place such as Clickbank.com and place a link in your text about an ebook that goes along with your lens.

I have noticed some of the people with lenses on Squidoo that have the highest rankings often have many lenses. It would appear that with Squidoo as well as most other places the more writing you have posted the more money you can make. If you aren't all about trying to turn a profit or make money you can donate your earnings from Squidoo to a charity. One of my lenses is set up so that the money it earns goes to the American Heart Association. It may only be a few cents here and there but a few cents from me and from thousands of other people can really add up.
