How to Make Money Writing Articles Online

Dawn Lioutas
Anyone with a good knowledge of the English language and a passion for writing can quickly and easily start earning money online. I began writing articles online a few years ago, but only more recently did I discover the money making potential that it presents. When I started out, I submitted all the written work that I had from high school or university and ended my efforts there. My earnings weren't substantial as my articles weren't on the most interesting topics (considering they were on academic subjects), and I had only submitted my articles to one site, not knowing at the time how many others existed.

More recently, I started reading about other writers who had found success on the internet, and decide to reconsider my future as an online article writer. After writing and submitting a few articles on more high demand topics I started to realize that there was something to be had in writing articles. A well-written article, on a high demand topic, means that you will not only get the traffic, but that people will pass on your article to friends and family, or post links to your article on other social media sites.

I have been consistently writing articles for the past few weeks, and have discovered that by doing so regularly it is possible to earn a substantial amount. If 20 articles earn you a dollar a day, then imagine what 200 or 2000 articles could earn you. You might think that 2000 seems like an unachievable amount of articles to write but even if you wrote only two or three articles a day, within a few years you could easily have 2000 articles posted online, earning you money for years to come. Make sure you try out all the sites that pay you for your articles and see which sites work for you and which ones don't. Depending on what topic you write, you might find it easier to earn on some sites over others, but if you don't try all of them in the beginning then you might miss out on a site that could have worked for you. If you stick to it and write consistently you are guaranteed to earn a steady income, whether it is enough to pay for some groceries each month, or whether it is enough for you to quit your day job is all up to you.
