1. Stay motivated and focused, If you want to do something and see it through to the end then you have to retain your motivation and focus.
2. Work on your time management. Sometimes one of the reasons for not getting something done is lack of time, so to overcome this why not manage your time better, make more time to get done those things that need doing.
3. Write down what needs doing. Its all good and well knowing in your head what needs doing, when and why but if you write it down you wont have to use so much energy in remembering your to do list.
4. Visualise what needs to be done and how it will be once you do it. Sometimes visualisation is one of the most powerful ad strongest things that you can do to make sure you get more done.
5. Take time out. Trying to do too much, or in fact everything at once is no good for anyone, instead take some time out to do something that is completely different to what you are trying to get done. Re energise, get your focus back and get back on track with doing what needs to be done.
6. Delegate. Sometimes it is easier and less time consuming if you delegate some of your chores, to dos and tasks to other people. If people offer to help you with something or do something then take up their offer. Getting things done together will save you time and energy and will leave you satisfied and content.
7. Set goals, targets and aims. Getting things done might be easier if you break each thing down into more manageable bite sized targets and aims. Say you want to refurbish your house, how about breaking this up into smaller more achievable targets and aims such as do one room at a time.
8. Set time limits. You will often find that you can get more done if you set yourself time limits/deadlines - Why not try it and see how much more you get done when you have less time to do it in.
