The first thing you want to do to make sure you have more energy when you go to work is make sure that you get plenty of rest the night before but not too much rest. Too much sleep will make you feel tired all day, around 8-10 hours is optimal to be feeling the best at work. Anything more or less then that will probably have you feeling groggy and tired all day. When you wake up in the morning, be sure to have a hot shower and a nice full breakfast. A cup of coffee wouldn't hurt either. You'd be surprised how many people just skip everything in the morning because they are late for work, these days are the hardest and the ones where you have the least energy to get through the day.
The second thing you want to do to make sure you have enough energy to get through your work day is take energy vitamins and drink energy drinks. Take a B vitamin and a multivitamin everyday and drink lots of fruit juices. Drink coffee but only in moderation and try to avoid too much sugar. A sugar crash midway through your work day is the last thing you need.
Try to splash cold water on your face, and communicate with coworkers. That seems to make the day go by faster, especially if I'm communicating with coworkers of the opposite sex that I find particularly attractive. Drinking Ginseng tea and avoiding alcohol and cigarettes are other ways to improve your energy while you are at work. Working out regularly and not being a couch potato when your at home works well too.
In conclusion, working hard and effectively requires a lot of energy, if you follow the suggestions in this article, I guarantee you will have more energy while you are at work and be a healthier happier and more productive worker then you were before you read this article.
