How to Get More Likes on Your Facebook Fan Page
Are you having trouble getting those coveted "Likes" on your Facebook fan page? Wondering how some people do it? Well here in this article will be a few ideas for you to get your fan page a few more likes.
Tagging: Facebook tagging, all you have to do is write @ and the person's name. A drop down menu will appear, so you just pick the one you want and when your comment or message posts, it's a blue clickable link.
So, to get more likes on Facebook make sure to tag your fan page whenever you can. Example: John says, "What is everyone doing this morning?" You say, "Just doing some work for my insertnamehere fan page." The insertnamehere part would be your fan page and should be tagged. Do this where ever you can and you will get more likes.
Comment a lot: Interact with people, that is why it's called social networking. People won't just come to you. If you comment a lot with your fan page and not your personal profile, people will click it to see what you are all about and then they will like you.
Say thank you: When someone likes you, tell them thank you. This one little thing will make you stand out in their mind and want to know more about you. You would be surprised where a little bit of manners can take you these days.
Refer from your personal profile: Many who have fan pages actually started out with a regular personal profile. When people send you a friend request on your personal profile, send them a nice little note that says something like "Thank you so much for your friend request. I look forward to reading your posts. If you have a moment, perhaps you would like to take a look at the fan page for my work." Then leave a link and say thank you again.
Have contests or drawings: People love to win stuff! Have random contests where they can win a prize associated with your fan page. One of the most common of these contests are to give out a prize when the page reaches a goal number of likes. Another example would be to have a quiz, or just have people comment on something to win, just have one rule…they must be a liker of the page.

Great tips!! Social Media is so important in this day and age. It is where so many People get info and share it......tagging is great and so is commenting!
Oh and LOVE the contest idea...BUT JUST MAKE sure to read the giveaway contest and promo rules facebook has in place...you can lose your account. They have very strict rules:
