Let People Know You Sell Mary Kay
One of the easiest ways to get more Mary Kay customers is to let people know you sell Mary Kay. This is the most obvious way of course, but many fail to go beyond friends and family. Mary Kay has the warm-chatter method which helps you to strike up a conversation that will eventually lead to Mary Kay and then gives you the opportunity to tell about your products. Some consultants don't feel comfortable or don't have the time. If that is the case, simply cut strait to the point.
When you introduce yourself to new people, introduce yourself as Mary Kay Consultant and hand them a business card. Giving a sincere compliment is another great way to open the opportunity to give a business card and let them know what you can do for them.
Advertise Your Mary Kay
Advertising is another great way to get your name and your Mary Kay business out there. Be sure to follow all guidelines required by Mary Kay when you are advertising to get more Mary Kay Customers.
To advertise your Mary Kay business you can place ads in your local paper, college bulletins, Craigslist, your Mary Kay website, bulletin boards, and by posting your website link on your social websites. Just be sure to follow all Mary Kay guidelines when advertising. They can be found on the Intouch website.
Host Mary Kay Parties
Mary Kay parties are one of the easiest ways to find new customers. Not only are you working with a current customer, but you get to expand your horizons and meet all her friends that will be attending the parties. If she has 6 ladies at her party, that is 6 new potential customers. Try to book at least 2 parties from that party, as well. That will mean 18 new customers from those two parties for a total of 24 new customers from a full circle party. That's a very good method of getting new customers, building your unit, and raising yours sales.
Get Several New Leads by Using a Facial Box
Using a facial box, or even a fish bowl, is another great way to find new customers and even a few new team members. Contact local business where women are sure to frequent. Ask them if you can hold a raffle or drawing for their customers. Offer a gift certificate or a gift basket for their customers. Then set up using a facial box or fish bowl. Take plenty of entry forms, which consist of name, address, phone, email and whether or not they would be interested in receive a facial, hosting a party and any other information you would like to obtain.
Give the business a specific date that you will return to pick up the facial box. On that date pick up the leads and either hold the drawing their or at your home. If this is the only drawing that you will be doing for those entries then allow the store clerk or manager to draw a name. If you are entering those in to your monthly drawing to add to other entries from other locations then obviously you will need to take them with you to add to your other entries.
After you have collected all your entries, call each person. Let them know that either they won or didn't win. This is the key point to the entire idea of using facial boxes. When you call, set up the time and date for their free facial. You may want to give everyone who didn't win, a $10 gift certificate to use at their facial as well.
When you set up their time and date, let them know that they can invite a few friends and get hostess credit. Don't push the 'party' idea to everyone as that can seem like a lot of work for them. Simply tell them they can share it with their friends and earn great prizes and free products.
These are some very easy ways of getting new Mary Kay customers. Each consultant will have different results. Professionalism and great customer service will increase the results. Be ready to accept a few no's. If the first raffle does go so great, don't give up. Do another one. Practice makes perfect!
