6. Advertise your car for sale on the internet and on specialist website, have a go at selling your car yourself and save money in the process - just remember to make sure your information and pictures are both clear and precise.

7. Clean up your car, wash it and make it look all shiny and new. Touch up any scratches, chips or anything small that might just turn a sale into a no sale.
