How to Get More People to View Your Articles

Whether you write articles for online or offline sources you will no doubt be looking to generate more interest in your writing. So then writing an article is one thing, but.....Getting more people to view your articles is challenging at the best of times so here are a few ways you could try to see if they generate any more visitors and page views for your content and articles, here goes:

1. Get on board with social networking. If you are not on website such as www.facebook.com or www.twitter.com then what are you waiting for, sign up now and create a profile and get networking, occasionally post links to your article's, build up online friendships and over time you will notice that more people will be visiting your articles, as word will spread with regards to what you offer and more importantly how you can help them.

2. Use your blog. If you don't have a blog then get one write now for free at www.wordpress.com or at www.blogger.com. If you have a blog then mention your articles in your posts, for example give people a taster or a teaser as to what your article is and then provide the link for them to view after you have caught their interest with your little teaser.

3. Use press releases. If you have articles within a specialised area or topic or consider yourself to be a bit of an expert then why not use press releases to get the word out about your articles. Give your press realise a story and an attention grabbing headline that should get and keep the presses attention. Submit your press releases to both online and offline sources. Never be afraid to promote your work if it is good, useful and helpful to others.

4. Keep writing. As silly as this sounds, you must keep writing, keep writing more useful and content rich articles. As you write more you are building up more of a reputation and as a result of this you will get more people viewing your current and previous articles.

5. Word of mouth and networking. This is probably one of the best ways to build up the traffic your article or articles receive and more to the point its probably the most effective. So get out there telling people about your articles, your writing and your content. If people find your articles useful rest assured they will tell their friends, family and associates and then they in turn will tell their friends and networks which in the end give you a kind of snowball effect.

Always remember that you are only as good as your last article, so do try to make and keep articles both content rich and key word rich BUT not spam or junk rich - this will get you nowhere fast.
