How to Get Mosquitoes to BUG Off

TommiH
We all know that mosquitoes are beyond annoying. You try to go outside and the swarm comes. You try to have a party and enjoy the beautiful summer weather, and they crash the party. You lie in bed tossing and turning every night because you can't quit scratching those cursed bite bumps! Now you just want the mosquitoes gone!

But now you're faced with the famous question, "How in the world do I get rid of them?" Well, you've come to the right place to find the answer you've been looking for. Whether you're in the frame of mind "Aww...well, they're just bugs and I don't want to kill them. I just want to keep them away from me" or in the frame of mind of saying "Let's kill the little suckers" I've got solutions for you.

Taking them out by force: AKA death to all!

Bug zappers:
The first thing you want to invest in would be a couple bug zappers. These things are highly affective and don't cost a lot. You can get a bug zapper at pretty much any hardware store or multi-store. Just get a couple and align the area you're in with the bug zappers, sit back, and listen to them be zapped!

Tiki torches:
Tiki torches work wonders! Same thing as the bug zappers, align your territory with the torches, set them on fire, and spoke the mosquito's right out of the sky. Mosquitoes hate smoke. It burns their lungs when they get too close which causes them to loose the ability to fly.

And for you high-techy people: Mosquito Magnet® Liberty Plus Trap - MM3100

Trap and kill those mosquitoes for good! Place the Mosquito Magnet® Liberty Plus Trap in your backyard and let it do the rest. It will cover up to 1 acre of land and protect you from all those nasty bugs. You can find it at http://www.homeclick.com/web/catalog/product_detail.aspx?pid=48464&cid=48464MM3100:H:Nextag

Easy solutions without the death:

Keep it movin':
Make sure to keep the air moving for wherever you are. If you want to sit out on the patio, take a big fan along with you, plug her in, and let her blow. No mosquito likes moving air. They can't fly in it.

Bring out the mouth wash!:
It's true. Put some mouth wash in a spray bottle and spray the area you're in with the mouth wash. Mosquitoes hate it!

Bring on the stinky:
It is a proven fact that if you eat garlic, mosquitoes are less out to bug you. The garlic smell will seep from your pores and into your surrounding area. The smell of garlic repulses mosquitoes.

Good luck this summer, and don't let the bugs bite!
