How to Get a Moving Avatar

Jealous Much?

Psynopsis
I want to write about my profile pict or if you refer to call it an avatar. If you haven't noticed, my picture moves, the picture is of the animated show "Hamtaro". Having a moving picture is very beneficial in that you are more likely to attract others to your article. If you see something moving you are ten times more likely to click on the article and read it. Another thing why i think these avatars are great is that they make AC look more attractive. AC currently has no moving avatar, except for mine.

The first step into getting one of these pictures is looking for one you like. There are many websites that offer these avatars for free. Search for them on Google, most websites offer them for free. Type in "moving avatar" for example. Or anything that insinuates moving pictures for profile. many websites let you create one from your own pictures free. They are different than the regular pictures that get posted on profiles. When you select the avatar you like make sure it blends in with the background,it will be more fluid and will look natural. If the background is white, try to get one that has a white background as well. This is only a tip, it's your choice to decide how it should look.

Second step is getting the image you want. Ok, so you got the image chosen and ready to be upload to AC for example. Now, this is the hard part or in most cases the easiest. You right click and save it by selecting "save image as..". There, was that easy or what? But there's a catch after you go back to the profile and upload it and click update. Most images get distorted or simply don't move. One thing that could cause this is that maybe the image moves too fast or the profile server does not support these images. Although very unlikely as they are Gif images and thereby supported by most servers.

AC supports them as you can see but if they are distorted you can try another image. The profiles in AC do not have this but in others, like Myspace profiles and personally owned websites or even blogs have Html which is another way to upload the image. Try one, it makes your profile stand out and catches the reader's attention. Thanks for reading!
