How Much Alcohol Can You Bring Back from Mexico?

Pure Writing
When coming back from vacation from Mexico and driving back by vehicle, you will always want to bring something back to remember Mexico as a fun place to vacation at. I have been traveling back and forth from Mexico for years, and the Border Patrol regulations are almost the same as they have always been for years. In this article I will write about the alcohol regulations when entering the United States, because if you ever go to Mexico you will always want to bring some alcohol back with you.

Many alcohol products from Mexico are not sold in the USA and that's when I decided to bring back some Tequila that is one of a kind and that no one has in the states.

The limits are simple there is a couple of limits for bringing back alcohol products back into the United States from Mexico. Tequila bottles are limited to one per person, so if you and three others are traveling back you can all bring back a bottle if you are all legal drinking age which is twenty-one years of age. And, when it comes to beer which not all beer products are sold in the United States also, but the majority are. With beer there is a limit on one beer carton per person and that is it. But, like the Tequila you have to be the legal drinking age of twenty-one years old, and each person coming back with you can only bring one carton back into the United States. I usually don't bring back any beer, because Mexican Beer is sold a lot in the United States but Tequila is limited on some brands in the states.

There is a fee for bringing back alcohol back into the states and it's not very much, but only a few dollars. Last time I went I brought back one bottle of Tequila and they charged me only one dollar for my bottle. At first I thought they were going to charge me a lot of money, but the fee is really not that much. The reason there is fees for alcohol and limits on the amounts you can bring back into the states is because the Border Patrol does not want people to make profits over liquor from Mexico, unless you have a commercial license to buy in Mexico and sell in the United States.
