Sure, there really is a natural remedy for anything that ails you. You can even build your own first aid kit at home that includes these wonderful remedies. You will want your bandages, gauze and what not, but instead of the bactine, triple antibiotic and rubbing alcohol you will be supplying this kit with some natural remedies to treat emergencies!

A natural remedies first aid kit must have a few key ingredients. These include, but are not limited to, aloe vera gel (without alcohol, which dries out the skin), echinacea, peppermint oil, tea tree oil, fennel seeds, cloves, sweet oil (olive oil), natural salt (without iodine), red pepper and some faith!

Below you will find the ailments listed first and then what, of the list above, can be used for treatment of said ailment. Remember, this is only a "quick" fix and any severe injuries or persistent issues should be taken to the attention of a doctor immediately.

Any skin injuries, like scratches, blisters, bruises, cuts and burns, can be treated with aloe vera gel. If burns and cuts are severe more care will be needed. Always stop the bleeding with direct pressure before treating open wounds. Aloe also helps relieve poison ivy rashes. Hey, aloe isn't just for sunburns anymore!

For bites and stings take some echinacea to help relieve the swelling and any allergic reactions. Echinacea can also help with diarrhea, by relieving the swelling that happens in the intestines and anal area.

For a toothache suck on some whole cloves. They are an antiseptic and they will help to relieve the pain. Clove oil is what dentist used for a pain reliever when dental care was first thought of.

Peppermint oil helps settles stomach issue like nausea and vomiting, and even settles the stomach pain and discomfort that comes with a bad case of food poisoning. Peppermint oil can help to warm someone up that is in shock. It can also be taken internally for pain relief. Try peppermint oil directly on canker sores to help relieve these nasty little mouth ulcers.

Chew on fennel seeds for relief from cramps. Put a few drops of sweet oil in each ear to help relieve an ear ache or to help clear up an ear infection. Sprinkle some red pepper in your socks or gloves to warm up frost bitten fingers and toes. And gargle warm salt water to help ease a sore throat.
