How to Naturally Boost Your Metabolism Without Supplements

When looking to boost your metabolism there is no need for harsh chemicals to be placed into your body it can be done simply buy altering some of the things you eat. While dieting alone will not completely change your body style without help it can help you lose some weight and change how you feel by giving you more energy.

You have probably heard all about complex carbohydrates and high fibers these are the types of things you find in whole grains. How this works is by slowing down the release of insulin. Your body starts to store fat when there is an increase of insulin in the system, by slowing down this release of insulin your metabolism increases burning calories in your body.

Low fat dairy products are another means of weight loss. Many studies have shown that when the average person adds 3 to 4 daily servings of dairy products to daily diet they show a higher weight loss then those who have had a lower intake of dairy products.

Some top vegetables that help speed up your metabolism are carrots, celery, beets, eggplants, cabbage, tomato, spinach, peppers, and broccoli. Peppers are especially good for boosting your metabolism due the fact hot peppers contain capsaicin which is known to really give your metabolism that good kick start. Just remember that vegetables need to be consumed in their raw form.

Green tea has a little known ingredient called Epigall Catechin Gallate, which is believed to boost the metabolism but coffee and green tea also have caffeine which also gives your metabolism a jolt from the caffeine buzz. Adding a cup of green tea or coffee to your breakfast in the morning is a nice way to kick-start your metabolism in the morning, but you need to watch you do not over stimulate and overdue it.

Lastly, German researchers have shown that by drinking water you can boost your metabolism by over 24%. By doing this you must make sure to drink ice cold water. Water not only keeps your body lean by flushing impurities it also keeps the flow on nutrients moving throughout the body.
