Thus, I decided to give you few helpful tips to manage your conversation better to achieve what you want.

Know and focus on exactly what you want.

Realize that your partner might have the same goals as you do. Do not underestimate it but instead acknowledge it with a purpose of relaxing him and give him the opportunity to respond.

Be open to change while at the same time trust your senses and knowingness. You got them for a reason. Utilize them.

Look at a disagreement as a challenge and opportunity and stay optimistic at all times by practicing positive thinking to yourself and others. It will surround you with an upbeat mood and help you being focused while removing out of your way negative and detrimental people.

To be stubborn is an attitude. Loose it up as determination and diligence can go long way.

Let down your guard and learn to listen. Don't interrupt to find out what is in his mind and return the flow back to the source of the negotiation that you favor and emphasize it.
