How NOT to be like Kanye West

Kayne West's interruption of Taylor Swift has been seen by many as totally acceptable. This just goes to show that some people have not yet learned the simple things in life. If you agree that what Kanye did was out of line, then this article is for you. These are simple life lessons that everyone should live by... even Kanye. Even first graders know most of these.

1. Respect others- When others are talking do not interrupt. Wait patiently until it is your turn to speak. When the person speaking and the discussion have ended you may speak your mind. If you are not leading the group, raise your hand and wait to be called on. Always treat someone the way you would want to be treated. Think if the person you were treating poorly was your sibling and you were someone else watching them be pulled down by someone. Would you be mad that someone had disrespected your sibling? If so then don't do it to others.

2. If you don't have anything good to say don't say it- You should only say things that bring people up, not bring them down. You do not need to bring others down to make yourself feel better. Complementing people should bring your own self up.

3. When it is other's time to shine let them- Everyone should have their own time to shine. You need to let them have it so that when you have your own people will respect it. It is a mutual concept that is generally accepted worldwide.

4. Money does not make you better than anyone else- Money is a material object. It does not make you any better than someone if you have one million dollars and they have one. Everyone was created equal and will always remain so. If you have more you should help those that have less.

5. Share- If someone else is using something then wait until it is your turn to use it. Don't rip it out of your hands. If you do things like that, no one will want to share with you. Always ask whoever was using something last to make sure that they are done with it. If they are not wait your turn.

6. Don't make rude comments- People don't like it when you say rude things about them. Girls definitely don't like it when you embarrass them in front of everyone. They probably have older brothers you know.

7. Don't pretend to be sorry- There is nothing worse than someone who is not actually sorry for what they have done. If this is you, talk to someone about it. Chances are if other people think you did something wrong, you probably did. Be sincere about apologizing and repent because you want to, not because you think you have to.
