Avoid stress
Many people see TV shows of older people desperately clutching their chest as a sign of a heart attack and think, "Oh poor senior citizen. Hope he gets well, " but they don't give a second thought to being stressed out at the office, stressed out over a test or stressed over a lost love. Even younger people can suffer from strokes, heart attacks and other stress-induced ailments. Stress, a serious ager, affects yours skins cells. It can also cause weight gain, dark circles under the eyes, and other skin problems such as acne. Intense concentration on whatever situation is stressing you out can lead to expression lines around the eyes, mouth and nose. Stress can also lead to a lack of sleep, which also causes dark eye circles. Unfortunately, many people think stress is a part of life, but it doesn't have to be. Instead of being anxious about things, focus on what's going well in your life, and you'll avoid looking old.

Avoid alcohol
Scientific studies show that drinking alcohol can lead to dilation of the blood vessels in the skin. When that happens, your skin can also wrinkle and sag. in fact, drinking alcohol can make skin problems such as acne get worse. It makes your skin look blotchy and dehydrated. Once you get rid of the stress in your life, you'll have no problem feeling free and loose without drinking alcohol. Consider that looking young is worth much more than drinking. To not look old, drink juice or water instead.

Avoid complaining, bitterness, crabbiness, and sadness
Sad to say, but some people like to complain and get sad about things. However, these are major agers. Many people know of the crabby eighty year old who doesn't give out candy on Halloween or the sad old man next door.
