How to Have an Online Party to Sell Your Catalog Items

I have become a consultant with two companies that you can do home parties with. Sometimes booking someone's house is hard, so now the thing to do is have an online party. This is when everyone goes to a chat room, you still have a few games and you still sell your stuff, the only difference here is, you don't have to leave the comforts of your own home. Especially with gas prices always on the rise, the need for online parties will becoming more and more. Since this is a new thing for many representatives, many are not sure how to "host " an online party. This is a guide to help you, so that you can host a party and make sales for yourself.

The first thing to do before you should do is open up word or notepad, write a script of your party. The reason you want to create a script, is for a few reason, one it saves time, because all you do is highlight and paste your responses into the chat. Another reason, it help you look professional and avoid stage fright. Start off with a simple greeting, Welcome the guests and also ask for them to private message you there emails so you can send them a downloadable catalog, if you have it. if not, make sure you list the website fpr the to go to. Also I am going to tell you a secret word, every time you say the secret word and they catch it it will be a point. Youym will announce the winner of mystery host at the end the party. This agains ensures people stay the entire time at the party.

Now it is time to party, an to tell them that we are ready to start:. I make a list of the woman, and whoever says hey secret word or what ever they type to tell you said that secret word I do the slash marks. This is also a good example of having a script ready, prior to the party, by highlighting and pasting your script into the chat allows you time to write names down, and award the points.

By now your going to go through the website, category by category, explaining each catagory and what is in it. The next thing you have to do is ADVERTISE. Just write up an invitation and ADVERTISE IT. Go to yahoo groups look for groups that will allow that type of invitation, Café mom is another place to go, and post the invitation. The more you advertise the more people will come.
