Step1
Look at the back of your phone. The silver "button" is not a button or even a real release lever.
Step2
Screen Side is Towards the Left Hold your phone in your left hand, screen side towards your palm.
Step3
Press firmly, but not forcefully, on the silver "button" with your left thumb.
Step4
Proper Thumb Placement will Help Place the fingers of your right hand just under the spacebar with your thumb on the battery compartment door.
Step5
Slide it off using your thumbs Slide the battery compartment door toward the bottom of the phone, using both thumbs.
