How to Make an Orc Warlock World of Warcraft Costume

If you are a huge World of Warcraft fan, you probably want to dress up like one of the characters for Halloween. Maybe you are even thinking of throwing a party for your on-line gaming friends. Admirers of the ever-powerful and determined Orc Warlocks with love this costume. The variations to it are endless! Even though the Orc Warlock is a complicated character, a costume can be made inexpensively and with a little Orc-like determination, it can be easy, too.

Supplies needed to make an Orc Warlock costume:

Green face paint

Ready-made elf ears

Red lipstick

Red gloves

Long, red satin bathrobe

Red satin material

Yellow satin material

Grey satin material

Gold edging tape

Fabric glue

Wide belt

To make the Orc Warlock costume:

Step One:

Cut out yellow and grey pieces of fabric in various shapes.

Step Two:

Cut out a piece of the red satin material so that one of the edges is straight across. This will sit at the neck of the costume.

Step Three:

Glue the pieces of grey and yellow fabric on to the bathrobe.

Step Four:

Glue the straight-edged piece of red fabric over the chest of the bathrobe. Put the gold edging tape on the edges of the red, grey and yellow pieces that were glued onto the bathrobe.

Step Five:

Put several rows of gold tape around the edges of the bathrobe.

Step Six:

Cover the wide belt with pieces of the yellow, grey and red fabric using the fabric glue. Let it dry.

Step Seven:

Put the on the bathrobe once everything is dry.

Step Eight:

Put the belt on over the bathrobe.

Step Nine:


Cover the elf ears with the green face paint.

Step Ten:

Put on the elf ears.

Step Eleven:

Put the green face paint over the entire face, hair and elf ears.

Step Twelve:

Put red lipstick on the lips.

Step Thirteen

Put on the red gloves.

Some tips for the Orc Warlock costume:

Many different colors of robes can be used to make the Orc Warlock costume. If you know how to sew, you can make a more authentic costume using the exact colors of the Orc Warlock character. The bathrobe referenced in these instructions is a simple way of providing the base of the costume if you don't know how to sew.
