Promise yourself some rewards if you get your closet organized, and stick with it. For instance, if you have it organized and done in two days, you can purchase the new outfit you've been wanting - shoes included. If you get it done in four days, you can get the outfit, but no shoes. If it takes you a week to get the closet organized, you can choose a new blouse or skirt. Motivation like shopping is a great way to get you moving and to get that closet organized.

If there is one thing that can really get someone motivated to clean and organize, its new stuff. For instance, have you ever purchased new living room curtains and then ended up cleaning the whole living room to see how great they looked? Use this with your closets.
