How is Your Outlook

Bubba
Where is your outlook on life? There was a man that had an old used car for sale. The car had served him well but it needed some TLC to continue being of service. The fenders rattled, the tires were good but not great and the radio only got one station. He put it our front with a For Sale sign. The first person that looked at it was a young man about 16. His eyes lit up with anticipation that this cool car might soon be his. It was freedom and beautiful in this young man's heart.

There was a young woman that was shall we say a bit plain and very tall. Kate was a hard working gal with a delightful personality. Most guy wouldn't even give her a second look. Kate was head over heals in love with a fella five feet tall and Coke bottle glasses. Their love produced a special aura that was infectious. People wanted them to share their Hope and Happiness.

The Third Grade teacher opened many Christmas gifts. Some fancy, some handmade, but one was wrapped in a brown paper bag. It was a Rhinestone bracelet with a stone missing and a half bottle of cheep perfume. Johnny's Mom had died and these were hers. The teacher praised his efforts. Twenty years later she attended his wedding wearing the bracelet. Johnny had become a Doctor and still considered her his best teacher ever.

Each of these examples one persons pity and another's pride depending on your outlook. Today we are in the midst of a challenging year here in the USA. I want to fix the economic woes of this country but what can I do? Well the simple answer might be nothing. You as an individual can't lend the government money or change the way decisions are made.

I can, as an individual, put one foot in front of the other and do the next right thing. I can continue to be responsible for my own finances. I can continue to be frugal, pay bills on time, and live life as best I know how. I can continue to strive for a more Spiritual outlook on life. I can be grateful for all my blessings. I can continue to give examples of positive viewpoint to all that know me. I can smile and giggle if only because it is easier than crying and swearing.

It doesn't matter which idiot millionare is elected president. It is us common folks that will rid our country of this fatal Rectalcornea Worms malady. If y'all have this malady read my cure at http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/326777/how_to_cure_rectalcornea_worms.html?cat=9
