How to Overcome Low Self-esteem

Jason Ward
A lack of self-esteem is a big problem for alot of people, whether in their personal life, work, or even both. A lack of self-esteem is where you don't think that you are good enough, worthy, or equal to other people and you feel like you haven't got much to offer or bring to the table.

It is sad that so many people don't consider themselves worthy or capable, because God put in everyone on the planet the ability to succeed and everyone has a calling in life, but so many people never find their calling, maybe they were to scared to go and look for it, maybe it was staring them in the face but they never had the courage to reach out and grab it.

I am going to help you by giving you some guidelines and advice for boosting your self-esteem, and your pride, even if you are the shyest person on the planet, you can still learn to overcome your problems.

I used to have a problem with shyness and a complete lack of confidence, but one day I decided enough was enough, I am no longer gonna be pushed around, and not take any risks, I am gonna give it my all to change in these areas. And I did, although I haven't reached the best I can be I have seen so many changes in my personal life it astounds me.

#1.
Fall in love with yourself.
Learn to like and love all the special qualities about yourself, forget about any negative ones they will go away sooner or later. Recognize the gifts and talents about yourself and expand on those things, try to make yourself the best of the best in those areas, don't care about anything anyone else says about you, because if you do than you rely to much on other people, you have to rely in yourself only.

#2.
Change your habits.
This means if you have a job that you are too comfortable in and you don't feel is challenging you enough than quit. If you have defaults, where you like to do things certain ways, than change them, changing the way you operate and leaving your comfort zone are the most important guidlines to follow if you want to succeed.

#3.
Try doing something out of the ordinary.
Take a risk, be daring, being aggressive in these areas is the only way you are gonna be abe to change in them. Push yourself to the limit and then beyond, and as you do you will see yourself growing by leaps and bounds, instead of a snail pace.

#4.
Make positive changes in you health and fitness lifestyle, so that you can also look the best that you can. There is no greater boost than the fact that you have a good looking body and are healthy without facial blemishes and/or other health problems.

Now in order for any of these things to happen you need to have a dedication and wholehearted desire for change that will carry you through all the hardships along the way.

It is something that won't happen overnight, but pretty soon you will see the changes in yourself whether they be small or giant leaps, it will incourage you to keep going, and never give up or quit.

Like the old saying goes, "Winner's never quit, and quiters never win"!
