Doll Grapevine wreath
What you will need:
a doll about 10" high
small plastic pumpkins
green construction paper
sunflowers
plastic Indian corns
wooden beads
different colored feathers
scissors and glue
grapevine wreath
floral wire
Dress the doll the way you would like her. Set her in the middle of the wreath, using the floral wire to tie her in if necessary. Glue the plastic pumpkins around the wreath at spaced-out intervals. Then glue the sunflowers right next to the pumpkins. Use the green construction paper to cut out leaves. Glue the leaves around the sunflowers. Take the Indian corns and glue them next to the sunflowers. Use the beads and feathers to fill up any empty space on the wreath. Let dry and hang.
Autumn Wreath
What you will need:
one undecorated grapevine wreath
1/2 to 1 yard of Fall fabric
Raffia
cut the fabric into strips that are about 1.5" by 18". Cut out dozens of these, and then start tying each strip to your wreath into a bow at different places. The best part of this project is that you can add as many or as few as you like. When you get the wreath you want, tie a big bow with the raffia and tie that onto the top of your wreath. Hang and enjoy!
Nature-Walk Wreath
The whole family can enjoy not only a fun craft, but an enjoyable nature walk together as you gather up items you need for your wreath. Anything found outdoors can be used, from acorns, leaves, pine cones, twigs, sticks, grass, walnuts, stones, etc.
What you will need:
Items gathered on your walk
large grapevine wreath, or several small ones
glue gun
floral wire
Arrange your findings from your walk on paper after you have cleaned and shaken out any excess dirt from them. You can make one big wreath or have each member of your family make several small ones. Any larger items such as twigs, grass, and stems can be woven directly into the grapevine wreath and then secured in using the floral wire. Use the glue gun to attach smaller items, such as walnuts, acorns, rocks and pine cones. Use ribbon to hang your wreath up.
