The Internet has quickly changed the way that office workers and businesses use their personal computers for desktop publishing and graphic design. Before the Internet, designing and learning to make a business flyer required a business to invest in design, graphic and publishing software. Now, office workers like you can use the Internet to create and make your own business flyer online. Usually, such business flyer design can be accomplished using free web-based programs. Learn how to make your own online business flyer and save money.

Decide on the focus and overall message of your business flyer that you wish to make online. Consider the message you want to communicate to potential customers and business associates. For example, focus on why your company's superior to its business competitors and why the audience should buy your commercial products instead of someone else's products.

Sketch a mock design of your business flyer on paper. It's very good to have a poster design draft to work off of when you start designing your business flyer online.

Review the design and graphical elements that you plan to include in making the business flyer online. For example, you'll most likely plan to publish your business logo on the poster, and also include business photographs and colors. Each of these specific design elements will affect the emotion and appeal of your business flyer. Bright colors and unusual fonts may be fun, but they may not be professional. Check that the overall look of your business flyer communicates the message you chose in Paragraph 2 of this technology article.

Go to Google Docs, a free word processing and publishing suite created by search engine giant Google, Inc. Click the New menu in the top left-hand corner of the Internet-based document program. Select "Document" from the drop-down menu. Type the text you wish to enter into your business flyer. Change the font, font size and font color to match the relative feel and look you created in the rough copy of your business poster. Click "Insert" and insert photos, business logos and other graphical elements. Review your business poster and customize it further until the business flyer matches exactly what you planned. Try not to put too much information on the poster, though this may be very tempting. More information and design elements is not necessarily better. The more you try to cram into a business flyer online, the more the customer has to try to focus on. A basic and simple business flyer is generally better than one that is trying to say multiple things in a small space. Print the business flyer you designed online and distribute as needed. Post the flyer around your town and office building, and mail it to friends, family and business associates. You may also want to include your business flyer when shipping products to customers, or when sending invoices after making a sale.
