The Chinese Dragon represents a symbol of power. Dragons are highly popular in China and people treat them with respect. Dragons with five claws used to be the symbol of Chinese emperors. This is the reason why dragon costumes are very popular in Chinese festivals and It is still considered as an important symbol in China. In this article I will tell you how to create your own Chinese dragon.

Stuff Required For Creating a Chinese Dragon:

This is the material that you will need to make your own chinese dragon:

1) Construction paper in different colors.

2) Long sheets of paper

3) Crepe paper in different colors including red, green, orange, yellow, blue.

4) Scissor

5) Markers in several colors including red, green, orange, yellow, blue and black.

6) Glue

Normal Steps Required For Make a Chinese Dragon:

1) Find a picture of Dragon's face that represents happiness. You can also make your own picture. If you are not good at drawing then you can also get a picture drawn from a tattooist. You won't need to do that because you can easily find hundreds of dragon picture over the internet

2) After finding a suitable picture cut it out with the help of a scissor.

3) Glue the picture onto the construction paper. This will be the face of your dragon. Once you are done with the face move on to make the dragon's head and body.

4) Put the long sheets of paper on to the floor. After constructing the paper will be rolled half so that it forms the shape of the dragon's head and body. Position your friends in the form of a line under the paper to make the dragon move.

5) Decorate the dragon body with the help of the colorful markers. Make wings using the construction paper and cut them out. Then Glue them onto the dragon body. Make streamers and glue them at the back of dragons's body because, this will make your look more realistic.
