How to Make Your Own DIY Baseball Theme Party Invitations
Want Guests to Arrive on Time? Get Their Attention with Themed Party Invitations
If baseball is your theme, then you have the first part down already. Now comes design and assembly.
You can either get pre-made baseball stationery for the front of your party invitations, or you can make your own. If you have a graphics editing program or clip art (which is easily available online) and access to a color printer, you can easily put a baseball related border around your invitation cover and print it out with your party information. If a printer is too impersonal and you want to get really creative, you can easily stitch or thread a thick red string around the border of your invite. Try pearl cotton, available in any chain craft store. Try using red or baseball themed ribbon for tying the top of your party invitations (or one sheet of paper to another), and stamps or stickers related to the sports, parties, snacks, and baseball theme. Try looking for paper and accents in the colors of your favorite baseball team or in MLB's red, white, and blue for your party invitations. You can even find baseball related tiny buttons or trinkets and put them on or around the ribbon. The great thing about make-your-own invitations is that you can really customize them for your party, and in the case of baseball, for your team. Don't forget that colored pencils and markers are available in every color of the rainbow, to make it easy to color invitations and fill in rubber stamps with your baseball team's colors.
The easiest way to make your own party invitations for any theme is to place a piece of paper with your party details over a larger piece of decorative paper and tie them together at the top. After that, you can decorate your party invitations to match your theme, which is easy when it comes to something as common as a baseball theme.
Good invitations are a great way to generate interest in a party, and baseball theme invitations are a good way to go to make your parties memorable and keep guests coming. I hope you enjoy this year's baseball season, and don't forget to eat some snacks for me!
