How to Make Your Own Face Cream

You Can Choose Your Own Delightful Scent for This Face Cream

Face cream is important because the most exposed and scrutinized part of our body is our face! With so many products on the market today, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out which ones to buy. It can also be overwhelming trying to figure out where to get the money to buy them. Department store face creams are expensive and, in many cases, over-hyped.

You can make your own face cream. It's not difficult and will save you money. And the ingredients are all natural. So set aside a little time to make yourself this homemade beauty product and pamper yourself. It will make your face feel wonderful!

Ingredients:

1 cup of Aloe vera gel

20,000 IU of vitamin E

2 cups of grape seed oil

1/4 cup coconut oil

1 cup distilled water

1 oz of beeswax

3-4 drops of essential oil of your choice (lavender, almond, etc.)

Using a double boiler, blend the grape seed oil, coconut oil, and beeswax. On low temperature, blend these ingredients together until the mixture starts to melt. Place this mixture into a glass jar and allow it to cool completely.

Next, using a blender on medium speed, combine the aloe vera gel, vitamin E, distilled water, and essential oil. Then slowly add the beeswax mixture into the blender. When the solution starts to thicken, the face cream is done. Don't worry, the blender will easily wash clean of these ingredients.

Place the mixture into a glass jar with a lid. Your homemade face cream is now ready to use! And the delightful scent it has was chosen by you!

Note: Baby food jars work great if you want to divide the mixture up into several portions. You can give some of the jars out to your friends as gifts. Just tie a little ribbon or perhaps some raffia around the jar. Who wouldn't love this as a gift!
