Have you ever considered making your own fruit based lotions? Making your own lotion can be a healthy solution for your skin not to mention a rewarding hobby. The smell of fresh fruit has the ability to make your skin very pleasant. Check out these simple tropical recipes that I have researched and start on your way to having beautiful and healthy skin from the comfort of your own home.
Just a brief note about homemade lotions: after the mixture is complete you must use quickly and store properly. It is best to make mixtures in small amounts because of the limited shelf life. If the lotions are stored away from the sun and kept cool than there is a chance that they may last up to 3 weeks. However, there are products out there that can add preservation to your products. For example: A mild preservative such as Liquipar Optima may be recommended to prevent growth of harmful bacteria and to protect against a wide range of microorganisms.
Note: If any ingredients in the recipes cause an allergic reaction please discontinue use or do not use at all.
