Load the "Make a Quiz!" application to your Facebook account. It will ask for permission to access your "information." You must click allow for this application work. Bascially, the "Make a Quiz!" application, like all the other Facebook applications, ust needs the permission to publish information on your profile, wall and in your news feeds in order to operate correctly.

All Facebook applications are required to be in line with the Facebook TOS, or Terms of Service. That means your quiz cannot include anything profane, promote any illegal activity, be unacceptable for minors, or be used to buy or sell any illegal firearms, drugs or alcohol.

Select a title for your quiz (which must be at least five characters long) and then write a brief description in the boxes provided. You may select languages other than English, which can be fun for select groups. For example, write a quiz in Spanish as a project for extra credit for your Spanish class. Or make a French language quiz specific to your experience on a study-abroad trip.

Decide who can access your quiz. You may leave it public so other users outside your network can play, or keep it just for your friends. Extremely personalized quizzes should be only allowed for your friends to protect everyone's privacy. If your quiz contains any alcohol related content (questions, answers) you will need to check the tab. Then, upload an image as the thumbnail for your Quiz App. Quizzes with profile pics will be much more popular in the long run on Facebook.

You will choose the results for your Facebook quiz before your write the questions. For example, if your quiz is "What Girl Scout Cookie Are You?" you will fill in options for the result titles such as Samoas, Thin Mints, Tag-A-Longs, and Dulce de Leche. You must have at least four quiz results, and you may add more one at a time as needed.

Under each quiz result option you will write a brief description of what that result means. For example, you might say "You are a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie! You are sweet and fresh and highly addictive. You can crumble under pressure, but stack up to challenges too." Be creative with your responses and use correct selling and punctuation to be taken more seriously.

Upload a small image as the thumbnail for each quiz app option. You could photograph items yourself or use free graphics from the web. Just make sure you always have the legal right to use any photos your upload to Facebook or applications.

After completing the results page for your Facebook quiz app, the application will allow you to fill in the questions and available answers. The Make a Quiz! app provides one blank for the question and then a different answer blank for each result you provided earlier. It automatically tells you which answer will correspond with the appropriate result. So, if your question is "How do others see you?" you will type that in the question blank.

Then, find the blank for your first answer and see which result appears next to it. Right an answer that someone fitting that results might choose. Thin Mint: Slender and dark. Samoas: Rough but sweet. Tag-A-Longs: Soft and mushy inside.

Continue for each question. You must provide at least five Quiz App questions and may add more. Finally, you will receive instructions for installing the Facebook Developer App in a separate window. The instructions will lead you through the authentication process which makes sure you are not an autobot before officially creating your Facebook Quiz App. Launch your new quiz and see how your friends score.

Be creative to make the most popular, successful quizzes. Avoid poor grammar, spelling and punctuation or you might turn off the more education, older Facebook users. Design quizzes specific to your friends and network to take advantage of this new, user friendly technology. You can determine how well your friends know you by asking questions and rating if they answer correctly.
