Individuals who produce their own real estate videos, not only save money but they have the freedom and creative design to make the video however they choose. He or she should think about the points they want to cover in the real estate video, how long it needs to be and how to make it professional looking. It should be informative and easy to understand.

The first step is to gather the proper equipment to make your own real estate video. A top of the line camera is needed. Pay close attention to the number of megapixels and the zoom capabilities. Perhaps the most important piece of equipment to make a real estate video is a camcorder. Once again pay attention to the picture quality and play back capabilities. It may be good idea to get one that connects to a pc in order to do any necessary editing. Make sure to have adequate battery power for all the electronics. Buy extra batteries or make sure to have the battery supply packs. A good quality microphone should be used to make the sound louder and clearer. Last but not least a tripod is needed to keep the picture steady.

Write out a script. Decide what things you want to include in your real estate video and the best way to present all the information. Make sure to include general information about the property such as location and any amenities such as near water or contains a pool or fireplace. Incorporate any props that may be used such as furniture. When producing a real estate vehicle write out what you are anyone else will say and make sure to practice to do a walk through before beginning to film. This will help to highlight any problems or changes that need to be made.

The next and perhaps most exciting step is the actual filming. Make sure to have the video camera set up properly and make sure that the memory card or CD is inserted to insure the real estate video is saved. Try to act as natural as possible when filming and don't be afraid to do test runs or do it over if mistakes are made. The last thing to do is edit the real estate video. Perform actions such as cutting out any unwanted scenes, changing the colors or adding music.
