How to Get Paid for Advertisement on Your Site

Rosa Hayes
With all the websites that are out there, it is not wonder that people are trying to make even more money from them. The cost can be a little tricky when you search for a domain name or hosting provider to use. When I first started my website, Gaje Master Blogging, I was looking for a way to spend as little as possible since I was in it for the money. I found a way to create my website and have it pay for itself.

There are many ways that you can monetize your site so that it will draw a small percentage from the clicks that it receives and from the advertisement that you display on your site. Places like Google, Yahoo, and Adbrite will allow you to place relevant ads on your site and this will help you to earn a small percentage of the revenue that it receives from your site.

There are other ways to also make money on your site through advertising. I have seen many people who allow others to place their ads or links on the site for a small monthly fee. This type of advertisement can come in handy if you have enough people who are willing to do this. This can create a stream of income that will help you to pay for your hosting and domain name each month. Keep in mind that this will usually only work if you have a substantial amount of traffic and page rank to your site.

If you are not interested in doing this, you could also write product reviews about other sites, companies, or products that will allow you to get a percentage or flat rate for the review. If you choose to do this method of advertising, you should try to keep it relevant to your site and only list those that you know and trust. If you were to do a review on a company that you know nothing about and the site turned out to not be so good, you could loose customers due to them not trusting what you have to say.

When advertising on your site, try to figure out what would work best with your site without having to cram a lot of information onto one page. If the site's ads do not look good on your site, simply take them off and move on to the next type of advertising that you would like to try.
