Here's how to get paid for your opinion.
- Use the website above to get paid for your opinion using focus groups.
Use findfocusgroups.com to get paid for your opinion.
Large companies routinely hold focus groups to test new products and analyze old ones. Focus groups are simply roundtables of regular people who meet certain criteria that give their opinions on products. I've done groups that pay as much as $500 (Ferarri).
Simply go to that website, put in your city or state, and click Submit. You will get a list of groups in your area.
- Focus groups is a numbers game. To get paid for your opinion, apply to everything for which you qualify.
Once you have the list of focus groups from the website above, you will want to click on everything you think you qualify for. Even if you don't qualify for a certain group, like if they want Smartphone owners and you don't have one, you can sometimes still get paid for referrals. So open the link just to check.
Most focus groups will take your information by email to pre-screen you. If you pass that screening, they will call you.
- Get paid for your opinion by being diligent and applying every day.
Once you pass the initial email screening, the market research company will call you on the phone to screen you again. Sometimes this may take as long as a week, so in this time, you should continue applying to other focus groups. There are new ones every day.
On the phone, the market research representative will guide you through the process. If you pass this second screening, you will be given a date and time to go to the focus group. It is here that you will get paid for your opinion. Good luck qualifying, and don't give up. It can be frustrating at first, but diligent effort will pay off!
