Time is Money.
Before signing up to a website, check out its reputation. You don't want to waste your time with scams. Start out by asking your friends, family, on-line friends and other people for referrals. You would be amazed at how many people take surveys.Next, check with websites like Surveypolice.com. They are sort of like the Better Business Bureau for survey sites. People can rate and comment on survey sites, giving you the inside details. Surveypolice can also try and help you work out any issues you may have with a site.
The More the Merrier.
The more survey sites you belong to, the more money you can make. Just don't overload yourself. I suggest maybe 3-5 but you can do as many or as little as you want.
Show Me the Money.
When looking for potential sites see what the incentives are. Avoid survey sites offering charity donations, raffle tickets or points. Try to find sites offering cash (check or PayPal) or gift cards so you're not given a chance to when something. You know you are guaranteed the money or credit.
The Early Bird Gets the Worm.
Check your e-mail and each website everyday for survey opportunities. Try to take the survey as soon as you can, some surveys only have a limited space available so you need to act quickly.
Be Honest and Patient.
When taking a survey be honest; some sites can disqualify you for breaking the rules. Survey sites even recommend that you should take your time; hurried answers can disqualify you from a survey.Surveys are designed to get your opinion on a particular subject, product or service. Consider that a "real" job and do your best, it will get noticed.
Taking surveys can be a time consuming activity. Just when you seem to be moving along you are redirected back to the survey site. This seems to happen quite often just don't let it deter you. It will not happen all the time so just pick your chin up and start another one!
Just remember if you want taking surveys to work to your advantage look for reputable websites and sign up to more than just one site. Make sure you choose sites that offer gift cards or cash rewards. Take surveys as soon as you can because there is a limited amount of participants needed. And finally, be honest and patient.
