Especially around the holidays, we all want to eat delicious treats! But we must be mindful of exactly how many calories we're intaking - just 250 more calories per day translates into roughly one pound per week!
When you're hosting your relatives or just making pancakes for the kids, keep these three healthy recipes in mind.

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup applesauce

Combine all dry ingredients in medium sized bowl. Set aside.
Mix all other ingredients in large bowl. Slowly add dry ingredients.
Spoon batter onto griddle or pan with stove set at medium to medium-high heat. Pancakes are ready to be flipped when bubbling in the middle.
