How to Use Pandora Internet Radio

Pandora.com is a wonderfully easy music site to use. To start experiencing internet radio simply type Pandora into your browser search bar. You can also go directly to the site by entering www.pandora.com into search bar. Once on the site you can find step by step navigation instructions to help you with your music experience.

You do not need to be a paid member or even register to begin to use the site. If you do register you will have the opportunity to save your chosen stations or music choices and listen to them at anytime from any internet connection. Registration is free and users receive 40 hours of music a month at no charge. If you would like more than 40 hours per month unlimited usage is available for .99 per month. If you choose to register you are only asked for a very limited amount of information. You will need to enter your user name which is your e-mail address and create a password of your choice. You are also asked to enter the year of your birth, your zip code and your gender. You are given an option of receiving e-mail from Pandora radio and you may opt out with no penalty

To begin your music you will be asked to type the name of a group or title. At this point the wonderful results of the Genome Project begin. You will be given a selection from the group you chose or the actual song you chose. After this title plays Pandora will then select other music that you may like that are of similar genes to your first selection. If you do not like the choice given you can simply click the "thumbs down" button. If you do like the selection you can click on "thumbs up" and receive more in the same gene series. If you are unsure of other groups or titles you might like suggestions will also be made for you to chose from.

You may create your own stations to give yourself a variety of different music styles. You may like hard rock types on one station and classical on another. You are also given an choice of adding more variety to your station. Another available link will take you to an options box for sharing, renaming and editing your station. On the other side of your station box you will see a listing of the music currently playing as well as a few previous selections. In this area you will even have the opportunity to purchase the musical selection from iTunes or Amazon CD.
