A momentous thrill is brushing the coffee industry as iced coffee beverages has slowly gaining popularity.

According to the 2008 market research report from the National Coffee Association of USA, the percentage of Americans who drink iced coffee beverages is increased significant from 2007. Following the popularity of cappuccino coffee and mocha lattes, consumers are finding that coffee is just as mouth-watering - and even more energising - when served cold or frozen.

Iced coffee can be prepared as easy as iced tea. There are variety of choices, such as flavoring syrups, cold milk, cocoa and spices to let you create personalised coffee confections that are just equally delicious as those served in your favourite cafe.

Beverages such as iced vanilla mocha, iced rum coffee and iced coffee latte are easy to make at home. Here are some tips for refreshing and energising iced coffee beverages.

1. Prepare a nice cup and pour in the right amount of syrup to suite your sweetness. Pour in espresso or coffee, then the ice, and complete the beverage by top it off with cold milk.

2. Chill your perfect coffee beverage with ice cubes made from fresh-brewed coffee rather than water. Do not let your iced coffee become watered down.

3. Use a machine that creates a superiority coffee or espresso. The Capresso CoffeeTeam Luxe, for instance, crunches coffee beans right before brewing and leaves you to control the strength of your coffee.

4. You can create more by bringing a personalised signature to your iced coffee beverages with whipped cream, chocolate grazings, nutmeg or Ceylon cinnamon.
